METHOD OF DEEP STRUCTURAL MAPPING

FIELD: structural mapping of oil- promising rises characterized by discrepancy of structural plans of various horizons of sediment bags. SUBSTANCE: reconnoitering, gravimetric and profile seismic measurements are conducted along two mutually orthogonal profiles coinciding with directions of long and short axes of local rise along base horizon, correlation analysis of various frequency components of gravimetric field and seismic data is carried out and by its results gravity anomalies corresponding to base and desired horizons are isolated. Module and direction of vector of displacement of vertex of local rise are determined and area gravimetric survey is performed with orientation of profile along direction of vector of displacement with selection of distance between points and profiles not exceeding one third radii along axes OX and OY of autocorrelation of local gravity anomalies of desired horizon.
