PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the wear of the inner surface of a tray to facilitate the maintenance of a cut material conveying device while preventing a failure and to convey and discard the cut material at a low cost by reducing frictional resistance in the rotation of a spiral conveyor or the like for conveying the cut material such as bar-shaped chips and spiral chips mixed together with fine cut material in liquid such as a coolant. SOLUTION: In this cut material conveying device, an inner tray is mounted into the tray so as to form a clearance between the surface of a groove and the surface of the inner tray and to form a clearance between the bottom face of the inner tray and the inner surface of the tray, and the outer peripheral surface of a spiral conveyor or the like is rotatably installed in proximity to the surface of a guide rail and the surface of the curved inner tray. One or both of the surface of the guide rail and the surface of the inner tray are subjected to electric discharge surface treatment, silicon carbide coating treatment, or the like to form cemented carbide alloy film.
