The attachment comprises fastenings (10) with a lower clip (16) which is fixed to the edge (8a) of a wall (8) of the tent. The upper section (15) has a C-shaped cross-section which is open at the top. There is a strip (9) running horizontally through a sleeve (13) in the roof panel of the tent. The strip is cylindrical and the C-shaped section fits over the strip. The fastening on each attachment consists of a clevis which fits of the upper edge of the tent wall. The strip fits in a pocket (12) running lengthwise at the bottom of a flap fixed against the inner side of a border (7) along the edge of each roof panel of the tent. The border hangs down lower than the flap so that the area where the roof and wall panels are joined is hidden.
