The winding core (7) has a rectangular cross-section and incorporates a strip-shaped material part. Between the winding core and the support (2) a plateau (3) extends vertically and is connected to the core. The operating device for the winding core is a motor and the plateau is circular. The external dimension of the plateau is smaller than the diameter of the winds of the band-shaped object. The support has an elongated part adjustable in length. The support near an outer end is provided with an accommodation for a bearing (9), within which extends a shaft (4). On the one outer end of the shaft is a crank handle (5).
