FIELD: plasma cutting of metals, protection of personnel against light radiation of plasma arc and of plasma generator against roughness of cut sheet or edge of cut parts in location and spacing of blanks. SUBSTANCE: gear includes enclosure, plasma generator, screening device with pneumatic system, transducer of plasma generator protection, height stabilizer. Pneumatic system is equipped with air pressure regulator 15 and two-way electromagnetic valve 14 mounted across inlet to pneumatic system. Pneumatic cylinder 7 is fitted with power spring 16 and enclosure carries pickup of initial setting of plasma generator which interacts with protective screen.
