A device (1) is disclosed for working on shoes (4), in particular for cutting soles (11) and heels. In order to reduce the complexity of the work, the time and the material required, a device has a base plate (2) on which is mounted a clamping device (3) for a shoe (4), and a motor-driven cutting device (5) mounted so as to slide in guides (8, 9) on the base plate (2). The running surface of a shoe (4) clamped on the clamping device (3) is directed outwards, seen from the base plate (2), and the cutting tool (6) of the cutting device (5) can be guided in the longitudinal direction through the sole (11) or heel of the shoe (4). |
