The invention relates to a sealed filter, comprising a filter chamber and therein a cylindrical nipple (4), and a cylindrical filter element (2), at the end of which is a nipple-fitting cylindrical complementary tube (15) by which the filter element is fitted on the nipple, whereby the nipple and the complementary tube constitute telescopically matching elements, one of which has a circling slot and a ring seal therein. According to the invention, either the complementary tube (15) or the nipple (4) has its surface provided with an annular slot (16), a normal to which forms an acute angle with the axis of the filter element (2) and which slot is fitted with a ring seal (17), or the plane defined by the end of a second complementary element forms an acute angle with the filter element's axis, whereby the second complementary element has its surface provided with an annular slot between the elements and a ring seal therein. The force required for inserting the element in place is lesser than that needed in the application of a conventional O-ring sealing. |
