PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction cooker that has an inverter circuit of the half bridge type of low cost and high performance. SOLUTION: In the electromagnetic cooker 1, which is an induction cooker, the DSP 9, which is a processor having built in the PWM function for driving three phase motor that generates a PWM signal for three phase based on the common carrier signal, generates the PWM signal of U-phase that has fixed the duty ratio and the PWM signal of- V-phase that has the relation of anti- phase with the PWM signal of this U-phase and has adjusted the duty ratio in accordance with the predetermined amount of heating so as not to overlap with each other, and outputs the PWM signal of- V-phase and PWM signal of U-phase to the IGBT 35a being a first switching element and the IGBT 34a being a second switching element of the half bridge type inverter circuit, and thereby, performs PWM control of switching ON/OFF alternately the IGBT 34a and 35a of both switching elements. |
