Folded map

The map (100) comprises two sections which are folded from two connected central panels (10,10') along alternating concertina fold lines (14,15) running parallel to two parallel edges (16,16',17,17') of the map. This produces a series of folded panels (11,11',12,12'), which are aligned in a staggered pattern to enable any area of the map to be rapidly opened. The panel widths may be the same size or may decrease with increasing distance from the centre of the map. The two central sections can be folded along one or two central fold lines. Some of the fold lines can be punched with a line of perforations to be secured into a binding.
