PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making acoustic system for automatically controlling sound quality and volume which measures a transfer function of a sound field, without giving a sense of discomfort to those who are in the sound field, such as the inside of a room. SOLUTION: This acoustic system is provided with a band noise generating part 11 which successively produces a plurality of band noise signals whose frequency bands are respectively different and outputs the signals from a loudspeaker 34, a detected noise analysis part 14 which analyzes the detected noise signal detected by a microphone 35 provided in the sound field of the loudspeaker 34 for every predetermined frequency band, and a transfer function calculation part 13 which inputs the band noise signal and the detected noise signal, and calculates the transfer function of the sound field to the microphone 35 from the loudspeaker 34, and controls the sound quality and volume in accordance with the noise in the sound field, using the calculated transfer function.
