PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow simply measuring an actual load acting on an object to be measured. SOLUTION: A load measuring apparatus is provided with a body 1 attachable to a high frequency heating apparatus instead of a thermally processing unit 4 for thermally processing an outer circumferential face of a pin P of a crank shaft, and indicators 3a, 3b and 3c separated from the body 1 and connected to the body 1 through cables 2a, 2b and 2c. The body 1 has load pickups 10a, 10b and 10c disposed at positions that they can contact the outer circumferential face of the pin P, and load sensors 20a, 20b and 20c for detecting loads acting on the pin P through the load pickups 10a, 10b and 10c.
