PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and economical storage case for a sound absorbing material in which an engaging pawl does not come off from an engaging groove. SOLUTION: In the storage case, in which the sound absorbing material (3) used for a sound insulating wall is stored, for the sound absorbing material, the case is composed of a surface cover (1) being arranged while facing the noise source side and having the engaging grooves (1A and 1B) in upper and lower sections and a rear cover (2) covering the sound absorbing material (3) installed on the rear side of the surface cover (1) and having the engaging pawls (2A and 2B) fitted to the engaging grooves (1A and 1B), the engaging groove (1A) on the upper side in the surface cover (1) is opened downwards, and the engaging groove (1B) on the lower side is opened upwards.
