A bioactive composition comprises an isothiazole compound of the general formula I wherein R<5> is halophenyl, R<6> is phenyl and R<7> is lower alkyl - and a peat-derived product containing not more than 70%, preferably not more than 60%, by weight, of inorganic salts, especially of sodium chloride, based on dry solids.
