FIBROUS FORM AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fibrous form separable to a thickness, length or width needed for its aimed use, and also capable of having antimicrobial effect. SOLUTION: This fibrous form comprises a fiber A and a conjugate fiber B and has such a design that the conjugate fiber B is composed of a thermoplastic polymer R1 and another thermoplastic polymer R2, the melting point of the polymer R1 is lower than those of the fiber A and the polymer R2, and the layer (a) where at least part of the mutual conjugate fibers B and the contact paints between the conjugate fibers B and the fibers A lies virtually bonded and the layer (b) where the conjugate fiber B is nonexistent or the weight ratio of the conjugate fiber B is smaller than that in the layer (a) are distributed alternately.
