PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the print control method and its device in which image data used for print are displayed and the print effect by the image data are confirmed on a screen before actual print and to provide the print system including the device. SOLUTION: A display picture element number to display one dot in response to print resolution of a printer onto a screen is stored as setting information 604, and a printer control program 607 is stored in a temporary data storage section 606. Image data designated in advance are stored in an image buffer 605. A print effect confirmation screen display program 601 generates display data in response to a dot number and image processing information set by the setting information 604 with respect to image data stored in an image buffer 605 and displays the data on a CRT.
