<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for easily overcoating an information card with a plurality of kinds of coat films in which transfer heat energy characteristics differ. SOLUTION: In the case of laminating a coat film on the surface of an information card, heating and transferring the coat film on the surface by a heat roller 40, transfer temperature of the heat roller 40 corresponding to the used coat film and feed velocity of the information card X are previously stored in a memory 83. Kind of the coat film is set by a set means 93 and data of transfer temperature value of the memory 83 and data of feed velocity value are read out in accordance with the kind of the coat film set by the set means 93 and the kind of the equipped coat film is discriminated. When the kind of the set coat film coincides with the kind of the really equipped coat film, actuation of a temperature controller 96 and a card feeding controller 98 is permitted and the coat film is heated and transferred on the surface of the information card.</p> |
