<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper case for rice which can be manufactured at a relatively low cost, dispenses with refuse-making plastics in the manufacture, has a shape suitable for preservation in the door of a refrigerator or the like, makes it unnecessary to use a measuring cup as an accessory, makes it possible to check on the quality of rice and the quantity of the remains, has a pouring hole, is extremely convenient to use, and contributes to the environmental protection. SOLUTION: In a paper case 2 composed of rectangular side boards 11, 12, etc., upper and lower lid boards, upper and lower flaps 25, 26, and so forth, the case has double lid boards for the upper part and lower part and features a rectangular measuring lid of paper 3, which is removable and replaceable, provided at least at one end (upper part or lower part) of the body of the case 2.
