The support has a ring (1) which is open at the top and holds one end of the pole and is joined to a support flange (2). It is made in colourless transparent material. The ring has an oblong opening (5), near the flange, to hold a ring that covers the support. The ring has a first part (1A) whose section is adapted to fit the contour of the pole. A second part (1'B,1"B) is straight and forms stops to hold the covering ring. The lateral edge of the hole, opposite the flange, is supple.
