The unit has a filling chamber, which is opened and closed by a counterweight mechanism. A lever is tilted from the vertical to open or close the filling chamber. A variable stop scale enables the filling chamber volume to be altered. A further embodiment with a counterweight lever causes the filling chamber to move, so that its filling volume is alterable. Alternatively a rotary disc may be used to open or close the variable filling chamber.
