Mounting system including several upright girders (1, 2, 3, 4, 5), several horizontal girders (6, 7, 8, 9, 10) forming a self-supporting girder system. Equipment units (18, 26) are connected to and supported by said girder system preferably at the horizontal upper girders as a ceiling supported system. The vertical girders are provided with an adjustment foot (14) for adjusting the height of each upright girder. A panel (11) comprising support rails (12) for cabinets (13) and similar equipment is connected to the upright girders. The girder system can be used as room limitations. Preferably, the girder system is provided with gas and electric supplies inside the space of the girders.
