Solid galenic forms (I) for internal or external use are claimed, which give a foam-free solution or dispersion of controlled viscosity when added to a predetermined volume of water or an aqueous alcoholic mixture. (I) comprise (A) a pharmaceutical or dietetic component, (B) a gelling component, and (C) a material (or mixture of materials) which form bubbles in the solution. The bubbles homogenise the solution or dispersion and keep it agitated whilst the gel forms.
