Traction control for work vehicle, such as front loader

The traction control monitors the speed of each driven wheel and compares the actual wheel speed with the optimum wheel speed, for normal traction. The differences between the actual and optimum wheel speeds generate error signals which are processed with different gain factors to control the selective braking for the wheels with wheel spin. The controls uses a PID mode of control. For utility vehicles such a front loaders, the control takes into account the mode of working of the vehicle eg. if the front shovel is being deployed, to compute the optimum wheel speeds.
