METHOD FOR GENERATING ELECTRICAL POWER AND DEVICE FOR REALISING THE SAME

The present invention pertains to the field of electro-technology and relates to a method for generating electrical power by converting a plasma thermal energy into electrical energy. This invention may be used to increase the efficiency factor during power generation, to lower electricity costs and to ensure safety while protecting the environment upon industrial implementation of said method. The method of the present invention comprises emitting an electron flow in the form of a condensed beam through a screen which is made in the shape of two truncated cones (12, 13) connected at their smaller bases. The beam is sent into an ionising section so as to obtain a gaseous vapour plasma flow which is further condensed in the cavity of the cone facing said ionising section. The condensed plasma flow (37) thus formed is then curled relative to the condensed beam, while a standing wave (40) is formed in the cavity of the second cone. The present invention also relates to a device for realising said method, wherein said device comprises a vessel including a body (1) that contains the ionising section (15) in its lower part. The device also comprises a beam conductor in the shape of a conical nozzle (8) as well as a screen which is connected to said conductor via a chamber. The screen is made in the shape of two truncated hollow cones (12, 13) connected together at their smaller bases. The device further comprises a collector (14) mounted in the cavity of one of said cones, while the top of the nozzle-type cone is located in the plane where the cone smaller bases are joined.
