ELECTRIC DEVICE FOR EVAPORATING ACTIVE SUBSTANCES

An electric device for evaporating active substances has a housing, a printed circuit card mounted therein for an electric heating element and a flip switch with an actuation element that can swivel through a predetermined angle. The flip switch has a spring steel sheet strip which serves at the same time as a switching element for cutting and establishing an electroconductive connection between two contacts and as an elastic element which holds the switching element in two stable switching positions. The spring steel sheet strip has two end pieces, of which one is coupled to the actuation element and the other is directly mounted on one of the two contacts. The spring steel sheet strip further has a three-quarter bend which is brought to bear against the other contact when the actuation element is swivelled.
