A slide band enables a rigid box to be formed. A flatly stamped cardboard or plastic plate is formed as the base for the packaging and has dimensions 70 cm x 44 cm and in the horizontal format has seven folds in a vertical direction, so that eight flaps (1-8) are formed from left to right. The first four flaps (1-4) are identical to the last four flaps (5-8). The first and the eighth flap are cut away from above at an angle of 55 deg . In the second and seventh flaps rectangular shapes are stamped out, where the object to be packed is placed. The third, fourth, fifth and sixth flaps are formed from above at an angle of 55 deg in order to make possible counterfolds. Beneath the second and seventh flaps are small flaps (2a,7a) which by being folded upwards reinforce the base construction.
