PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a person unaccustomed to a crutch to easily and stably ascend or descend the steps of a staircase or the like by providing an axillary support at its upper end, and integrally connecting the right and left canes provided with a leg and a grip with connecting frames below the axillary support. SOLUTION: The right and left canes 1r, 1l are constituted of an axillary support 2, a pair of arms 3, 3 extended downward from the axillary support 2, a leg 4 pinched by both arms 3 and fixed at their lower end sections, and a grip 5 fitted to connect both arms 3 at the middle sections of both arms 3. The canes 1r, 1l are integrally connected by a pair of the upper and lower frames 6, 6 to form a crutch. The crutches can stably support the body when grips 5 are gripped and arms are extended while the axillary supports 2 are separated from armpits and both feet are floated from the ground surface, and a person can easily and safely ascend or descend a staircase or the like. |
