PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition which is effective for lightening the facial expression, smoothening skin and treating wrinkles and fine lines by using honey as a keratin-dissolving agent. SOLUTION: Honey comprises a mixture of glucose, levulose, dextrin, sucrose, protein and water and this composition contains the honey in an amount of 0.1-10% of the total weight. Since honey contains no hydroxy acid, the objective preferably contains additives such as a gelling agent, active ingredients, a preservative, or an antioxidant, particularly anα-hydroxy acid,β-hydroxy acid,α-keto acid andβ-keto acid and a fatty alcohol, particularly cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol.
