PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize time slots on a wired line. SOLUTION: A mobile communication system consists of a base station controller 1 having a means 11 which sends a synchronizing signal out and a means 12 which informs a base station radio device 2 of a time slot, the base station radio device 2 having a means 21 which detects the synchronizing signal and a means 22 which stores synchronous timing, and a wired line 3 which connects the base station controller 1 and base station radio device 2. Here, one time slot on the wired line connecting the base station controller and base station radio device to each other is used as a time slot for sending the synchronizing signal at the start of the operation of the base station radio device and also used as a time slot for communication thereafter.
