SOLUTION: A chewing gum, etc., are coated with a diluted hydroxypropyl starch (tapioca is preferable as the starch) as a coating or a precoating composition. A food containing an oil or an oily food is effectively coated or precoated by a limited number of layers (3 to 5 layers) with the coating composition having a low viscosity even if the concentration is high. |
