PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a food containing an oil capable of preventing an appearance from getting worse by oozing of the oil or fat by coating a chewing gum, etc., with a diluted hydroxypropyl starch as a coating or precoating composition. SOLUTION: A chewing gum, etc., are coated with a diluted hydroxypropyl starch (tapioca is preferable as the starch) as a coating or a precoating composition. A food containing an oil or an oily food is effectively coated or precoated by a limited number of layers (3 to 5 layers) with the coating composition having a low viscosity even if the concentration is high. |
