PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish overall width web threading which is operated with reliability and requires a single worker during threading. SOLUTION: In a paper web winding method by which paper web W is rewound from a paper reel, the end part of the paper web W is taken put from the reel by the overall width substantially so as to be installed in a threading member 21, which is extended over the overall length in the width direction of the web W substantially and feeds the end part of the paper web if via a winder, and as a result, the web W is conveyed with substantially uniform tension. The threading member 21 is conveyed by means of draw cloths 25 arranged in the width direction in the area for the web W. The winder for the paper web W or its equivalent is provided with a rewinding part and the paper web threading member 21. In threading, the end part of the overall width of the paper web W is stuck on the threading member 21, and the threading member, which is extended over the overall length in the width direction of the paper web W, is installed shiftably by means of the draw cloths 25. |
