PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless high-pressure discharge lamp device, realizing lighting of light colors of various color temperature, by using only one high-pressure discharge tube and one lighting system. SOLUTION: An electrodeless discharge lamp device; wherein input electric energy quantity to an effective length of discharge plasma can be changed, and luminescence at different correlated color temperature can be realized so that a user can obtain his preferable light color; can be realized by equipping an electrodeless discharge lamp 71: into which packing, composed of a metallic compound and a rare gas, is sealed, a microwave resonator 73: an electric energy inputting means for discharge-light-emitting the packing, and a rotating means 74: a means for changing input electric energy quantity to the effective length of discharge plasma in an electric field direction, made by the electric energy inputting means in the inside of the electrodeless discharge lamp; and rotating a lamp by rotating the rotating means 74. |
