摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy production method of an electrophotographic photoreceptor having uniform characteristics without defect in a coating film by which drooping of a coating liquid or a generation of bubbles from the lower part of a conductive base body while the body is dipped in a coating liquid are prevented in the production process of an electrophotographic photoreceptor by a dip coating method. SOLUTION: The production method of an electrophotographic photoreceptor by applying a photoconductive material on a conductive base body includes a process to cool a conductive base body and then dipped in a coating tank containing a photoconductive material to form a coating film. As for the temp. condition for cooling, it is preferable that the temp. of the conductive base body and the temp. of the photoconductive material during coating satisfy the relation of [3×logP-7.5] deg.C < temp. of conductive base body (before coating) - temp. of photoconductive coating material liquid <-1 deg.C and [3×logP-7.5] deg.C < temp. of conductive base body (after coating) - temp. of photoconductive material coating liquid <-1 deg.C, wherein P is the vapor pressure (mmHg) of the solvent of the coating liquid.
