A fountain system for a bridge is provided to prevent foreign materials from penetrating into a spray nozzle and a mounting groove by a nozzle cover covering the spray nozzle. A fountain system for a bridge is composed of: plural spray nozzles(20) arranged at both sides of the bridge; lamps(30) installed around the spray nozzles; a main passage supplying water to the spray nozzles; a branch passage connecting the main passage and the spray nozzles; a valve installed at the branch passage to control the quantity and pressure of the water; and a control system forming fountains of various shapes by controlling the operations of the lamps and the valve. The control system comprises a communication board installed in a machine room to transmit a control command of a control computer and a control joint box mounted near the spray nozzle and connected to the communication board through a communication line to control the operations of the lamps and the valve according to the control command of the control computer. The control joint box is composed of: relays controlling the operations of the lamps and the valve; a communication unit communicating with the communication board of the machine room; a display unit displaying ID(Identification), operation and communication states; and a control unit driving the relays by communicating with the control computer of the machine room through the communication unit according to a communication protocol and analyzing the control command transmitted from the control computer, and then displaying the ID or operation state by controlling the display unit.
