PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the production efficiency of ceramic slurry by solving the problem in the conventional process for preparing ceramic slurry that ultrafine grinding down to about 0.4μm particle size lowers dispersion effect, the slurry circulation becomes difficult due to extreme increase in the slurry viscosity to further hinder ultrafine grinding in the atomization of ceramic powder with a media mixing mill, thereby requiring the use of a ball mill for a long time over 20 hours because of its high slurry viscosity. SOLUTION: The first step slurry obtained by mixing a ceramic powder with a solvent is combined with a dispersant and atomized with a media mixing mill to prepare the second step slurry. Then, the slurry is mixed, as a binder is added, to give the completed ceramic slurry of the final step. In this case, anionic substances mainly comprising sulfate salts are used as a dispersant and this dispersant is previously dissolved in a hydrophilic solvent and then added to the first step slurry. |
