A hermetic compressor is provided to fix a piston pin into a piston not to be deviated therefrom by an elastic element such as a helical spring which prevents the separation of the piston pin from the piston naturally by elastic restoring force thereof. A hermetic compressor includes a piston pin(70) fitted to a piston(22) to be inserted into through-parts(22b,22c) of the piston and a small diameter part(62) of a connecting rod while the small diameter part of the connecting rod is inserted into an insertion groove(22a) of the piston, so that the small diameter part of the connecting rod is rotatable at the outer periphery of the piston pin. An elastic element such as a helical spring(80) is inserted into an inner diameter part of the piston pin for fixing the piston pin in the piston not to be deviated therefrom.
