PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for caulking a capacitor casing which can easily set rotating conditions necessary for optimumly caulking the capacitor casing, can provides a simple and rigid structure and can realize the caulking operation quickly with a high caulking accuracy. SOLUTION: A caulking mechanism includes a servo motor 42 which is fixed to a supporting column 41 to convert a rotational speed and to control a stop position, and a caulking section 50 to which a driving force is transmitted from the servo motor 42. The caulking section 50 has a vertically-extended, hollow shaft 51 provided rotatably in a bearing member 44 to be rotated by the driving force of the motor 42, a slide shaft 52 inserted into the hollow shaft 51 to be moved in its axial direction relatively with respect thereto, and caulking blocks 54a and 54b for caulking ends and end sides of casings 11 rotatably mounted to lower ends of a pair of levers 53 and 53 pivotably provided in a large-diametered part 51b of the hollow shaft 51 as opposed thereto in a diameter direction. |
