PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recognition device in which a high recognition performance is expected without being adversely affected by the line condition. SOLUTION: The device is provided with voice analysis sections 4 and 5 corresponding to the line condition information and voice model storage sections 7 and 9. A line interface 1, which has a line connection information acquisition function, analyzes the calling country from the call inputted through the line and the route an which the call follows and the information is reported to a line connected information processing section 2. Then, the section 2 selects one of the sections 4 and 5 based on the information. Moreover, one of the sections 7 and 9 is also selected. A voice collating section 11 compares the acoustic vector raw which is the output of the sellected sections 4 and 5 with the selected voice model and conducts a voice recognition.
