PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an air conditioner, capable of comfortably operating the air conditioner by preventing the frequent occurrence of heating overload protective operation even in a state of the smallest air quantity at the time of heating operation. SOLUTION: The controller is provided with a timer 19 for calculating a predetermined period of time, a counter 20 for counting the number of times of heating overload protective operation in the predetermined period of time, a number-of-times storage part 21 for storing the counted number of times, and an air quantity table 22a for setting an air quantity of an indoor blowing fan 7 on the basis of the number of times N stored in the storage part 21 and an input air quantity inputted from an operation part. Even at a minimum input air quantity selection time, the number of times of heating overload protective operation in a predetermined period of time is counted, a suitable air quantity is decided according to the number of times thereof, and the indoor blowing fan is controlled in the air quantity thus decided. Accordingly, the number of times of heating overload protective operation can be reduced. |
