Contact planes 5 and 6 to contact with each other almost in parallel to the direction of the axis C, are arranged on the first and the second members 3a and 3b. Screw parts are respectively formed on the contact planes 5 and 6. When the stud 1 having this spherical surface bearing is manufactured, a sphere 2a is sandwiched by the separately molded first and second members 3a and 3b, and the first and the second members 3a and 3b are engaged with each other by the screw parts. At this time, the positional relationship between the first and the second members 3a and 3b is optionally set by adjusting a screwing-in quantity of the screw parts, and a clearance between sphere receiving parts 301 of the race 3 and the sphere 2a is properly adjusted. The first and the second members 3a and 3b are positionally adjusted by a pin 4, and the clearance is made unchangeable.
