<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for expressing a group of graphic objects so as to make a maximum use of a display area in a computer control graphic display system. SOLUTION: A user selects more than one graphic objects and handles them as a group (2801). This is typically carried out by selecting an enclosure. The user next executes a disintegration operation (2802). This system discriminates a pen stroke as a disintegration gesture and decides whether a group is selected or not (2803). Then, the system 'stores' the group of graphic objects (2804). Thereby, the group can easily be expanded. Thereafter, the system eliminates the group of graphic objects from a display (2805), and shows a container icon (2806).</p> |
