PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce production of ringing at an edge part in the filtering processing including data interpolation processing. SOLUTION: Digital image data S are received from an image input device 1. A filtering device 2 uses a prescribed filter and in the case that an edge part is included in the filter size, a picture element value of picture elements adjacent to the edge part toward the interpolated side is regarded as a picture element of the edge part for convolution arithmetic operation so as to interpolate data. |
