The steering and pushing of wheeled toys on fixed axles comprises a steering wheel (1) and a steering wheel shaft (2). The shaft is connected to a butterfly nut (4) whose clearance is limited inside a casing (6) fixed to the rear of the chassis (8). The casing containing the butterfly is integral with a rear chassis casing (7) and the rear axle. The lower part of the steering wheel shaft is connected to the butterfly spindle by a knee pad (3). The casing is fixed to the chassis under the rear cantilever with an inclination of 45<o>. It is open in its rear part for receiving the steering wheel shaft bottom part.
