PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply improve the mount efficiency of electronic components by attracting prescribed electronic components in a component container means selected and carried by a component container by means of a suction nozzle of a carrier head, carrying the components to a component arrangement section, arranging the carried electronic components and carrying them sequentially to a suction position of a mount head. SOLUTION: A carrier head 4 is provided with several kinds of carrying suction nozzles 5, an optimum suction nozzle 5 in response to the kinds of electronic components 2 extracts the electronic components 2 from a component container means 3 and carries them in a direction of the arrow B along a guide rail 16. Then a non-defective/defective component check device 6 placed on a carrying path detects a defect, such as a floated lead to check a non- defective/defective component, and when a component is a non-defective component, the electronic component 2 moves to a component arrangement section 13. When a component is a defective component, the electronic component 2 is excluded by an excluding means. Thus, the mount efficiency of the electronic components 2 is improved substantially. |
