PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of troubles at the edge section of composed character data in a printer system in which character data are composed with the image data being component video signal and printed. SOLUTION: The image data being component video signals are written in a frame memory 1. The character data to be composed with such image data are read out of a ROM 4 and written in the memory 1. Data are read out of the memory 1 for confirmation and displayed on a display. At the time of printing, the data read out of the memory 1 are converted to three primary colors, converted/interpolated to the resolution of a printing head 9 and supplied to a replace synthesizing part 3. The character data are expanded with the resolution of the head 9 by an expanding/interpolating part 5 and supplied to the replace composite part 3. At the replace composite part 3, the character data read out of the memory 1 are replaced with the character data, which are expanded with the resolution of the head 9, and printed by the printing head 9. |
