PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an on-vehicle navigation system by which a communication operation can be performed easily between a plurality of vehicles which constitute, and belong to, a group by a method wherein a navigation system and a radio system are carried. SOLUTION: In a system, the position of an own vehicle is found on the basis of a GPS signal from a GPS satellite or on the basis of a signal from a carried sensor, the found position of the own vehicle is displayed together with map information, also information of a course reaching a set destination is displayed, and the information is transferred by a transmitting and receiving operation via a radio apparatus. Then, a group code is allocated to radio apparatuses which are carried on a plurality of predetermined vehicles, a group code is added in a transmitting and receiving operation, and information on a station at a radio apparatus on a communication partner vehicle in which a received group code agrees with a group code belonging to the vehicle is displayed. |
