PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light-emitting device and its manufacturing method by which a uniform surface light-emission can be obtained. SOLUTION: Using a transfer sheet 5 in which a light reflecting layer 2 and a transparent resin layer 3 having a lower refraction factor than that of a light-guiding plate 8 are laminated on a base film 1 in sequence, and a light diffusion layer 4 is formed on the transparent resin layer 3 in a gradation pattern, the transfer sheet 5 is arranged in an injection molding die 6 so that the light diffusion layer 4 side is oriented to a cavity, and after the die is closed, a melted transparent resin is injected into the die to form the light-guiding plate 8 made of transparent resin. Simultaneously with this, the light reflecting layer 2, the transparent resin layer 3, and the light diffusion layer 4 are integrated onto the undersurface of the light-introducing plate 8, the base film 1 is separated after the die is removed, and a light source 9 is arranged at least on one side of the light-guiding plate 8. |
