<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective and economical method for identifying a position at the time of a ground fault, the probability of occurrence of which is very small in the gas-insulation switchgear. SOLUTION: This gas-insulation switchgear is a unit device made up of a grounding tank 1, a high-voltage part 2 including a simple conductor part, a conductor connecting part, a conductor end part or a switching part arranged inside the grounding tank, and insulating spacers 3, 4 for supporting the high voltage part 2 or for supporting the high voltage part 2 and blocking a gas. A single unit device or a plurality of the unit devices above is connected to constitute the gas-insulation switchgear. In this case, a discoloring members 9 are applied or attached to at least a part of the external surface of the grounding tank 1 to detect heat emitted by a ground fault between the grounding tank 1 and the high-voltage part 2. Also, the discoloring members 9 are placed in a range where no direct sunlight reaches on the external surface of the grounding tank or on the bottom of the external surface of the grounding tank.</p> |
