<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel-selecting method for a radio communication system which dynamically selects a channel that is used without using a control signal that is stationarily and periodically transmitted. SOLUTION: A radio station waits for the reception of a packet that flows on a channel for only a fixed time (E-1). The radio station examines the receiving quality of a packet (E-3), when it receives the packet within the fixed time (E-2), decides that the channel is being used (E-4) when a receiving level is equal to or higher than a 1st level, and returns again to reception of the packet, when it is not equal to or higher than the 1st level. The station decides that the channel is not used yet (E-6), when it cannot receive a packet whose receiving quality is equal to or higher than the 1st level even after the fixed time has passed.</p> |
