The two parts (2,3) adjoin one another along a contact face and one of the two contact faces is fitted with a positioning element which engages in a corresponding recess in the other contact face. The positioning element and recess each have a dome or roof-shaped contour to engage with keyed engagement free of play. The tool unit can be a milling unit and the two connectable parts are disc-like tool supports (2,3). The positioning element can be formed from two separate cigar-shaped bodies. The positioning bodies can be stuck into the recesses formed in the contact face.
