The plug connector housing has a housing body with chambers for the terminal pins enclosed by a peripheral grip frame. A water-tight seal is formed integrally with the connector housing. The seal fits into a space between the housing body and the grip frame. The wall of the housing body has a channel for injection of a sealing material, which is preferably liquid rubber.
